Automatically match non-SWIFT confirmations in your electronic CMS infrastructure
SCANit
can automatically interpret details of confirmation transactions
from e-mail, paper and fax documents, and generate the equivalent
SWIFT message (i.e. MT3xx) that can be processed in the bank’s Confirmation Matching System
(CMS)
infrastructure.
SCANit
creates a SWIFT message that is perfectly formatted and appears as
an incoming confirmation. This means all confirmations, not just the
SWIFT exchanged confirmations, can be handled in one place.
SCANit
reduces the risk of costly manual errors and minimises the effort
involved in handling non-SWIFT trade confirmations.

Extract Data and
Generate Transactions from Source Documents with
SCANit
SCANit
is able to identify all field information required to populate a
full electronic transaction and pass it onto the required processing
system.
Other
than for initial training, there need be no user intervention; from
receipt of a document from a fax server (see
Document Sources) to
the generation of a completed transaction.
Transactions can be exported in a range of formats that include
Text, XML and Excel worksheets.
The generation of a range of ISO standard SWIFT messages has already
been implemented in
SCANit.
These include:

Match non-SWIFT confirmations in SWIFTNet
Accord with
SCANit
SCANit
can automatically pick up details of confirmation transactions and
generate equivalent SWIFT messages (e.g. MT300 or MT362) that can be
processed in Accord.
SCANit
creates a ‘Copy Received’ confirmation that Accord recognises as a
confirmation relating to a non-SWIFT counterparty. This means all confirmations, not just the SWIFT exchanged confirmations, can be handled in one place.
SCANit
can also convert outgoing paper into SWIFT messages that can be sent
to counterparties via SWIFT, instead of sending the paper.

Attach e-mail, faxes, cheques and other documents to an intelliTRACS
case with
SCANit
When a document is filed into a
SCANit Cabinet that contains an iTRACS Case Number field a transaction is passed from SCANit into iTRACS.
This transaction contains a link to the document in
SCANit
and is attached to the Case specified by the Case Number.
When the user views a Case, this item is included as an attachment.
By clicking on the attachment URL the user can open and view the attached document in a Web browser.
SCANit can capture e-mail, fax, paper and many other document types that can all be attached to the iTRACS case.
